Welcome to Sunil Tatkare.in my personal website. As Member of Legislative Assembly from Raigad Constituency (Mangoan, Roha, Tala, Mhasala and Shrivardhan) and Maharashtra’s Minister for Finance, I want this website to be a useful source of news relating to my campaigns and work.
The people of Raigad Constituency (Mangoan, Roha, Tala, Mhasala and Shrivardhan) have worked extremely hard over the past years to build up a prosperous constituency. I have worked hard with them, campaigning for public policies and services, the infrastructure, which has transformed our cities and villages. My job now is to ensure the prosperity of Maharashtra and help the people of Raigad Constituency (Mangoan, Roha, Tala, Mhasala and Shrivardhan) get world class services, clean environment and jobs they deserve.

The Nationalist Congress Party is a major secular party in India having its presence in more than 9 states. The party was founded on 25 May 1999 by Nationalist leaders Shri. Sharad Pawar, Shri. P. A. Sangma and Shri. Tariq Anwar.
Shri. Sharad Pawar was elected President of the NCP and Shri. P. A. Sangma and Shri. Tariq Anwar, General Secretaries of the newly founded party.
The Nationalist Congress Party is seen as the party with a progressive and modern orientation. Its ideology is of a holistic democracy anchored on Gandhian secularism, equity, social justice and federalism based National Unity. The party strives to maintain the integrity and unity of India by strengthening federalism and decentralization of power up to the village level.
Shri Sharad Pawar
Mr. Pawar, known to the masses as Saheb, was born on the 12th December 1940. Mr. Pawar hails from a family of Baramati, Pune (Maharashtra,India). Starting early in politics, he became president of the State Youth Congress at 24; Member of the State Cabinet 5 years later.

Shri Ajit Pawar is an Indian politician currently serving as the Dy. Chief Minister,
Finance, Planning and Energy Minister in the Maharashtra state government.

Sudarshan Chemical Industries to open Upgraded Roha facility on April 9, 2011
Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited has upgraded its manufacturing facility at Roha with an investment of Rs.100 crores. The key developments include a state of the art warehouse, High Performance Pigment Plants, Pearlescent and Cogeneration plants and an ultra-modern employee facility. It has also modernized its R&D and application laboratory. The Roha facilities will be inaugurated at a special function by Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Maharashtra State Water Resources Minister Sunil Tatkare on Saturday, April 9, 2011.

Tatkare inaugurates dam near Katol
NAGPUR: Water resources minister Sunil Tatkare on Friday performed 'jalpujan' at the Pimpalgaon tank to formally inaugurate the minor irrigation dam in the district. This would provide irrigation to 915 hectares of land across Narkhed, Pardi, Yerla, Parsodi, Kharsoli and Nandori villages in Nagpur district. Food and civil supplies minister Anil Deshmukh presided over the inaugural function.

New Mandwa jetty rots, old one crumbles
A new jetty in Mandwa which was constructed by the Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB) has been lying unused for eight months, after it emerged that there were some serious flaws in its design.
The jetty does not have a pontoon for passengers to alight and climb, or bollards for the boats to be tied up. A new passenger terminal with a sea-facing VVIP hall at the site lies unused.

170cr ayed for Human project
CHANDRAPUR: A major hurdle in the path of ambitious Human project coming up on Human river in Mul tehsil has been cleared. The state government has finally provided a sum of Rs 170 crore for depositing net present value (NPV) with the forest department. Minister for water resources Sunil Tatkare on Sunday confirmed the receipt of NPV amount from the government and said that soon after depositing the amount, the actual construction work of the dam is likely to begin.

Minister stranded at sea after fire damages boat.
State finance minister Sunil Tatkare had his second harrowing experience at sea in a month. Tatkare and 49 other passengers had to be rescued from a ferry near Mandva at Alibaug after a fish net got entangled in the boat’s engine and caught fire on Tuesday morning. The minister was travelling to Mandva, which is his constituency, when the incident occurred.
The ferry had left the Gateway of India at 8 am. - Hindustantimes.com
